DivorceCare Programs for Adults and Children

When the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, He saved us not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. Titus 3:4-5a

Cross Over Ministries and Montgomery County area churches are collaborating to bring DivorceCare and DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) to Hillsboro, Litchfield, and other communities. Groups are currently meeting ONLINE weekly for the 13-week program due to the COVID-19 pandemic. IN PERSON meetings are gradually being re-added. This has allowed our ministry to reach participants from all across America.

Logo DivorceCare

DivorceCare is an adult program aimed to provide a space for single parents to come together to discuss the emotional aspects of divorce and how to raise thriving children in a fragmented family. Each week will cover a different topic with the group sharing inspirational articles and real-life experiences.

The program has a $20 fee per person. The fee covers the cost of the workbook used in the program. There are scholarship opportunities available to help cover registration costs. We do not want financial issues to stop someone from receiving help and growing closer to God

DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) provides a safe, fun place where children can learn to understand and express their emotions appropriately. The online program aims to bring much needed healing to area children and families. While titled DC4K, the program is for children going through any kind of family fragmentation whether the upheaval is due to divorce, incarceration, addiction, or other factors. The mission of DC4K is to provide children with an age-appropriate understanding of separation of any kind.

Both programs work together to foster communication between parents and their children through a difficult transition. Although it is not required, it is recommended for parents to particpate concurrently with their child(ren) in the DivorceCare program.
